Eric Sands (WK, LHM, RHB)

On joining Purley CC in 1998, Eric was catapulted straight into the 4th XI where he made the wicket keepers position his own on account of being the only player with gloves. Since then, Eric and his Woolworths bat have enjoyed brief stints in the 2nd XI but he is happiest in the 3s where he competes with players more of his own standard.

Batting at number eleven, his highest score is 20* including four fours. He has hundreds of victims behind the stumps, and is looking forward to many more.
